About Me

I started studying photography at A-level, where I predominantly explored street photography. The genre is still one of my favourites and always provides a new perspective on a city. Finishing my A-levels led me to a foundation degree in art, to expand my knowledge on other mediums before going to the University of Leeds to gain a BA in Film, Photography and Media.

During my time at university, I was able to complete several film and photography portfolios, which allowed me to expand my craft and create work I am truly proud of. During this time, I also took an external course at Screen Yorkshire in factual TV, where I was able to learn and make connections in the documentary field. I also undertook a placement year at NBC Universal, working in the consumer products department, and first experienced the addictive chaos of the film industry.

After finishing my degree, I have worked as a PA & communications assistant where I was much closer to the action of production. Outside of my position, I also expanded my personal client base for film and photography to gain experience in the freelance world. This led me to pursue freelance work full time when my contract came to an end.

I am now working as a freelance AC expanding my experience and network, being a apart of several diverse productions. Outside of this work I am also working no my cinematography portfolio producing spec work and building on my showreel. I’m always looking for new opportunities and projects, so please do get in touch if you have something in mind
